Alphathor is a next-generation EPDM roofing membrane. It combines dimensional stability with elasticity and stands out in terms of quality, ease of use, and installation speed.
The unique self-adhesive membranes are applied directly to the substrate without adhesion primer: convenient and cost-effective. The membranes and accessories are thermally welded into one clean, homogeneous EPDM top layer that does not leach and does not discolor rainwater.

Unlike many other bituminous and EPDM roofing membranes, Alphathor does not discolor rainwater. Alphathor EPDM is a pure, inert roofing solution. The membrane is chemically non-reactive and releases no harmful substances. As a result, rainwater flowing from the roof remains clean and safe for reuse or discharge.

With its white EPDM variant, Alphathor offers a high-quality and sustainable solution to combat the urban heat-island effect. Alphathor Snow protects the roof while simultaneously improving its energy performance.
White roofing membranes have higher reflectivity than black membranes, meaning they absorb less solar heat. White EPDM membranes remain up to 50% cooler and heat up to 40°C less than black membranes.
